Our client had designed a new wire spool and wanted to test a model in a production environment. The Realize team selected Somos NeXt for the application. We were lucky enough to witness the test via this cell phone video. The white part you see loaded into the machine is the SLA model. Pressure holds the spool in place while it is spun at a high rate to quickly wind wire around it. The wound spool is then shrink-wrapped and expelled from the machine. As you can see, our model performed flawlessly!
